Qualifications and Professional Experiences

  • Mature follower of Christ – born again at 13
  • 26 years as an ESL teacher, ESL teacher coach, and ESL Facilitator. Teaching children who didn’t speak English gave me patience for listening deeply, and an understanding of several cultures.
  • Former volunteer peer coach with Team Hope, part of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, where I coached parents of runaways who were walking through having a missing child.
  • BA in Elementary Education and Music Performance (Bethany College), Master’s of Educational Technology (Mid-America Nazarene University)
